Olympic Trial Info, From Sunday June
29th until Sunday July 6th the United States Olympic Trials are
taking place. USA takes 2 athletes per event, with the
exception of the 100 and 200 free where the top 6 are taken.
Note, the US uses the two extra athletes as relay alternates and
they usually swim the relay prelim event and are still eligible for
medals. Because there are only 2 spots per event, this US
olympic trials is shaping up to be the fastest meet in swimming
history. World, American, and US Open records will probably
be broken. Below is the listed TV schedule:
June 30th -
July 3rd... 8:00-9:00PM Eastern Time on USA network
June 29th,
July 4th - July 6th.. 8:00-9:00PM Eastern Time on NBC

The order of
events can be found at www.usaswimming.org. It is a prelim,
semi-final, final format. The psych sheet for the meet is
posted on usa swimming’s website as well, but the window is
still open for qualifiers and therefore subject to
change.
